Mauro Esposito BiosketchMauro Esposito was one of two mysterious Italian teenagers taken on trial at the beginning of the 1997-98 season, presumably under arrangements made before the return of Howard Kendall to the manager's hot-seat. Riccio was to spend two months on trial at Goodison Park before new boss Howard Kendall decided whether to sign him, and / or his compatriot, Luigi Riccio, on a permanent basis. Since nothing more was heard of either player, we can assume they returned safely to their families in Italy.... |
