The first week of the two-part Summer transfer window has passed before the Fifa Club World Cup in the USA starts next week, and so far not one of the 100 or so players linked with Everton have been signed.

So far this week, Everton are being linked with:

  • Mike Cooper, goalkeeper at Sheffield Utd
  • Taty Castellanos, striker at Lazio
  • Kyle Walker-Peters, full-back at Southampton
  • Oscar Bobb, winger at Manchester City
  • Kalvin Phillips, midfielder at Manchester City
  • Oguz Aydin, winger at Fenerbahçe 
  • Celan-Kole Cadamarteri, striker at Sheffield Wednesday
  • Mohamed Diomande, midfielder at Glasgow Rangers
  • Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, midfielder at Chelsea
  • Thierno Barry, striker at Villarreal 
  • Aleksandar Mitrovic, striker at Al Hilal 
  • James McAtee, midfielder at Manchester City
  • John Stones, centre-back at Manchester City
  • Josh Brownhill, midfielder at Burnley
  • Callum Wilson, striker at Newcastle Utd
  • Nick Woltemade, striker at VFB Stuttgart
  • Jack Grealish, midfielder at Manchester City
  • Richarlison, winger at Tottenham Hotspur

Everton are expected to decide on new deals with: 

  • Issac Heath, U21s winger reportedly signing a new 3-year deal 
  • Idrissa Gana Gueye, expected to get a 2-year deal
  • James Tarkowski, wants to secure a new deal
  • Michael Keane, who could become a free agent
  • Jordan Pickford, wants to see out his career at Everton
  • Seamus Coleman, expected to stay… as coach?

After confirmation that Everton have signed:

  • Carlos Alcaraz, on a permanent 2-year deal

And these Everton players may be moving elsewhere:

  • Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Newcastle Utd or Manchester Utd
  • Jarrad Branthwaite is being eyed up by Chelsea, Man City and Spurs
  • Mason Holgate set to be released after season loan at West Brom 
  • Neal Maupay is set to join Marseille when his loan ends

While these departures from the club have now been confirmed:

  • Jack Harrison will return to Leeds Utd when his loan ends
  • Jesper Lindstrom will return to Napoli when his loan ends
  • Orel Mangala will return to Olympique Lyonnais when his loan ends
  • Armando Broja will return to Chelsea when his loan ends
  • Žan-Luk Leban, contract expiring after 6 years in the Academy
  • Abdoulaye Doucoure, whose 1-year contract extension was rejected
  • Ashley Young, who will celebrate his 40th birthday in July 
  • Asmir Begovic, his contract expires at the end of June
  • Joao Viginia, his contract expires at the end of June

After all the fuss about strange names, in week 1, What Mr and Mrs Cart called their eldest son may be of interest. They called him after their favourite film director and movie star, Orson Welles. Yes that's correct Orson Cart.

As for Walker Peters, go get him Moyesiah. He plays both full back roles, So two for the price of one.
