Tuesday's World Cup action concludes the last-16 fixtures, as world champions Argentina aim to reach the last eight.

Argentina are in action against Egypt in the first fixture of the evening, with Lionel Messi looking to continue his oustanding tournament to date. The eight-time Ballon d'Or winner has scored seven goals in just 321 minutes of football this summer, and leads the Golden Boot race alongside Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.

Egypt are into the knockout rounds for the first time and beat Australia on penalties in the previous round.

Later on, Switzerland take on a Colombia side containing ex-Evertonians Yerry Mina and James Rodriguez. The winners of tonight's ties will complete the quarter-final lineup and meet in the last eight. That fixture is scheduled for July 11th in Kansas City.
